The Visual Fantasy
My work is a distortion of reality—an abstract version of the world recreated as a visual fantasy. I reject the norm in favor of an exaggeration of color and texture, utilizing the infinite palette of automotive paint to mimic the vibrant, complex world I see through my eyes.
The Mirror Game
There is a game played with the eyes here. A piece may appear as a deeply textured, rugged surface, yet to the touch, it is as smooth as glass. This mirror-like finish, achieved through layers of clear coat, wet sanding, and polishing, creates a physical experience that contradicts and delights the visual sense.
